Step 1: Resort Choice: Morzine
A real all-rounder the combination of attractions in the much loved resort of Morzine make this the ideal destination for many.
Traditional architecture, stunning mountain views and prettily wooded slopes.
Low Alpine, tree lined runs perfect for beginners and early intermediates.
A range of excellent ski schools to choose from.
Lively town with a huge variety of shops, bars and restaurants.
Great value accommodation in both hotels and chalets.
Great nightlife.
Step 2: Accommodation Choice: Chalet Hotel L’Aubergade
Great value, comfortable accommodation.
Ski to the door location.
Great apres ski bar with live music in the afternoon.
100 metres from the centre of resort.
300 metres the nearest cable car.
Next to the beginner ski area.
Step 3: Airport Transfers
Hanski organised an efficient, shared airport transfer service for the couple to provide the most cost effective route to resort.
The vehicle was a fully licenced and insured 8 seat minibuses with professional drivers guaranteeing a safe, reliable and efficient service experience.
Step 4: Ski Lessons, Lift Passes and Equipment Hire
Ski Lessons: The couple had never skied before and so we discussed their aims and what they would like to achieve. We recommended taking a few lessons in the UK before their holiday and then booked a very calm, understanding instructor in resort. Both clients made huge progress during their time on the slopes.
Lift Passes: As the client was complete beginner we advised against pre-ordering a lift pass in order to make use of the lower beginner slopes first which didn’t need a lift pass. This was a considerable saving.
Equipment Hire: We talked through all the kit the couple would need in resort such as a coat, gloves, salopettes etc and then organising for a mobile ski equipment supplier to visit their hotel. This friendly, knowledgeable service was perfect for the beginners and meant they did not have to visit a local shop.
Client Feedback
Just to say we had the most amazing time away skiing, everyone and everything ran so smoothly. My husband skied really well and I was just getting the hang on it.
Bring it on for next season!
